When you select “Send enquiry”, your answers are transmitted to this website and stored in its hosted Cloudflare D1 database for Bernard Maina to review and respond to. The page confirms receipt only after storage succeeds. The private enquiry inbox requires owner-authorised sign-in. No automatic email notification is currently sent.

The form asks for your name, email, organisation or capacity, role, market, purpose, stage and intended outcome. A submission reference and time are also recorded. Records more than 90 days old are removed during subsequent submission or inbox activity; separate correspondence may be retained for an ongoing business relationship. Enquiry details are used to assess relevance, arrange a discussion and respond to your request; they are not automatically subscribed to marketing. These questions establish the context and potential fit for a discussion. There is no automated acceptance, credit scoring or investment decision.

Keep initial enquiries non-confidential. Do not include identity documents, bank details, health information, proprietary technology or another person’s personal information.

When you send an email to connect@bernardmaina.com, the message and its contents pass through email services and become correspondence outside this website. The booking link opens Cal.com; information entered there is handled through that service. Review Cal.com’s privacy policy ↗ before booking.

The WhatsApp link opens an external messaging service. If you choose to message there, your messages and account details are handled through that service; opening this website does not automatically send a WhatsApp message.

The website serves its typefaces from its own address. LinkedIn and other external links open separate services with their own privacy practices.

The enquiry code does not add advertising trackers, analytics cookies or browser storage. Cloudflare provides the website hosting and form database. Service processing may involve locations outside your country; contact the address below for information on applicable arrangements before sharing sensitive information. Hosting, access control and connected service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and access logs. This statement does not mean that all hosting or service-level processing is disabled.

This form does not automatically distribute your enquiry to ecosystem participants or technology providers. Introducing a specialist, sharing project records or connecting a monitoring platform requires a separate scope, appropriate permissions and data-handling arrangements.

Confidentiality, intended use, access and responsibility should be settled before sensitive commercial or personal information is exchanged.
